Gentle Birth Care believes in supporting families who have chosen to deliver their new babies into the warm loving surroundings of their own homes.
Life is a journey that begins at birth, and to begin that journey at home, helps promote a home into becoming a safe, sacred space for nourishing our children. With three of my own children, I am able to say to them, “Look, that is the bed that you were born on…(except for one daughter who came to the bed from the waterbirth tub).
There is a sense of history and rightness with the world, as a couple works hard, and begins the journey of parenthood together by working through birth together, and then altogether, they get to meet and cuddle in the family bed afterwards. What an absolutely joyous occasion!
