Description
These pregnancy loss care packages are a wonderful gift for someone who may have recently lost a child. If you’d like to gift a box to someone who may not be able to afford one, please consider gifting someone a box. We fundraise in our community to be able to provide these boxes to our local Midwives and Birth Centers. This way they have them on hand for the families that they serve, who might unexpectedly experience a loss.
Choices include loss boxes for 1st trimester, 2nd trimester, and 3rd trimester losses.
Each Care Package Includes:
Chux Pad
2 Herbal Sitz Bath
Small Bowl
Saline Solution
Candle
Plantable Wildflower Seed Heart
Small Wooden Box with Linen piece (can be used in 1st trimester as a burial box OR to keep remains in)
No More Milk tea (not in the 1st trimester box)
Bereavement Journal
From the Creator: “These boxes were designed so that they could hold tangible items for women undergoing loss at home. During COVID, women would call me saying their husbands were not allowed in the hospital with them, so doctors were sending them home with meds to birth their babies at home. They asked me what materials they’d need to have their babies at home, that’s why I recommend the bowl and saline, plus chux pad: for active management of miscarriage at home.
