Nurturing Beginnings Birth Kit – This kit has been custom designed for the clients of Nurturing Beginnings by Donna Z Holmes,CPM LM.

…I became a Midwife because I believe birth is a normal process in which a midwife plays a special role without controlling birth to fit into a medical model, but rather to empower a woman to make her own decisions for the birth and care of her baby.

I love bringing a peaceful presence to a birth, which I have found allows mom the opportunity to be in control of her environment, and to birth in the way that she is most comfortable.  Birthing without fear is a wonderful possibility and can be accomplished through knowing the labor and birth process.  I also enjoy, with mom and dad’s permission, including siblings in the prenatal as well as the entire birth process.  I find that it enhances children bonding with their “new” baby even before he or she is born.
